Here comes October!

Well it's official one of our favorite months is here... OCTOBER!!! We love this month because of all the exciting things we get to do. As always, we started it out with Disneyland. We try to spend as much time as we can in October at Disneyland because of the Halloween theme... did we mention we love Halloween? The kids and I took off for an afternoon and walked through the beautiful decorations.  During this time, they change main street into a festive fall decor, the Haunted Mansion into the Nightmare Before Christmas and new for this year Space Mountain is called Ghost Galaxy.  If you have never visited, this is a must!

On Thursday, we witnessed Star Wars as we've never seen it.  We listened to a live orchestra playing all of John Williams bits as we watched it synchronized with clips from all six movies on a giant LED screen.  This concert is a worldwide tour that started at the Honda Center and it was worth every penny!

Finally, yesterday we hopped on over to Temecula to visit our Nonnie and Grandpa Mark.  They took us to a wonderful country style pumpkin patch where we were able to visit some live stock and venture into a cornfield maze.  Later, we were treated to a tasty BBQ courtesy of Mark.  We were hoping to catch the hot air balloons the next morning, but found that the weather was not permitting.  However, we did have a delicious breakfast that morning, so all was not lost.  Before heading home, we watched General Conference together and listened, as always, to the inspiring words of all those who spoke.
